Postcards from South Africa 02.27.11
The diversity of animals and scenery in S. Africa is breathtaking. These pics are from the beach near Simons Town. The Penguins are surprisingly friendly. When they hit the water, though, they are in their element. They zip around and spread their wings out like a bird in air!

I never knew there were penguins in South Africa.
Believe it or not, these are "jackass panguins." They were so cute swimming in the tide pools...
